Batts De-Icer Pro Slide-In Series

For airport operations that require the versatility of a multi use vehicle, Batts Inc. offers the De-Icer Pro SI Series for low cost efficient runway De-Icing and Anti-Icing. Slide-In units fit easily into any dump body or onto any flatbed. A bolt on storage stand and boom transport brackets (quickly attached and removed) are the only items necessary for easy on / off installation.

1600 Gallon (6050L), 48 Ft (14.6m) Swath 500 Gallon (1900L), 25 Ft (75.6m) Swath Storage Stands insure easy on and off installation. Product Delivery A complete, self-contained power unit and pump applies the de-icing fluid. The SI Series three-section spray boom enables the operator to spray from 9 ft. to 48 ft. (2.7 – 14.6 m). If the booms strike an object, they are constructed to break away with a positive release so no damage occurs to the boom or the object. The booms reset automatically. Roadways may be sprayed while the booms are in the transport position. Application Rate The material application rate is regulated by a new, simplified control system. Four settings allow the operator to select the rate desired. Low settings are used for anti-icing while high settings are used for de-icing. Once the rate is set, the control automatically maintains that rate regardless of the vehicle's speed. Control System The console controls the application rate, power unit activation, and nozzle functions. A flexible cable allows the console to fit into the cab of the vehicle. Pumping System A self-loading and self-unloading pumping system eliminates the need for a pump on your storage tank.

Options

Application Control - GPS Application Control Booms - Shorter boom widths are available. Hose Reel - High Volume / Low Pressure Speed Sensor - A speedometer connection for the speed sensor replaces the trailing wheel speed sensor.
