De-Icer Pro 2000
|
|
| The De-Icer Pro 2,000-gallon (7570 L) unit is equipped with hydraulic power that controls the booms, product pumping system, and spray nozzle functions. The truck engine powers the hydraulics by a front drive PTO or through a transmission driven PTO. Hydraulic power is available anytime the engine is running. |
| The computer controlled product pump on the Batts De-Icer Pro 2000 provides accurate application rates regardless of the vehicle speed. The control system senses the speed, active spray width, and material flow rate. To maintain the desired application rate, the computer automatically increases or decreases the flow rate to compensate for changes in speed or spray width. Application rate settings, operation of booms, and nozzle controls are all at the operator's fingertips and are lighted for nighttime work. |
| The spray boom is designed in three sections. A center section sprays a 10 ft. (3 m) swath. Left and right booms each spray 20 feet (6 m). The booms are folded in and out and latched in place from inside the cab by hydraulic controls. Break-Backs prevent damage by swinging the booms away, in either direction, if the operator strikes an object while spraying. Spray nozzles on each section of the spray booms can be operated individually, left, center, right, or in any combination desired. |
| The unit is tested, completely disassembled then cleaned and painted with high gloss acrylic urethane paint. The vehicle is reassembled and thoroughly tested to insure all components are working properly. |
